One of the best and most overlooked Technical Death Metal albums there is. Fast, precise, heavy, chunky riffs that stick in your brain so you'll find yourself whistling them at inopportune moments. A classic so good, I rebought it on here. Drachensturm

Thanks to Patrick Bruss for drawing The Art of Sickness to my attention. This is a weirdly slept on album and band. After a few listens it’s one of my favorites for brutal and technical death. The Suffocation legacy is probably why, but Profanity is not a clone by any means. Metallurgical Fire

it's hard to describe just how sexy this album is, but I'll give it a shot:
it's fantastically engaging from start to finish, and has a nice flow to it that makes it seem like one vast story, without any contrived parts that kill the momentum. I'm not fucking sure how the vocalist is able to play such technical guitar riffs and sound like a goddamn fire-breathing hell-demon simultaneously! shit is so killer! this is an extremely forward-thinking and ridiculously technically proficient band that deserves your money, so fucking pay them for making the world less dreary with some brutal art! mercurialdynamo

I'm late to the party, but this is a beast of an album. Will be replaying this one a lot, and will get anything new from this group. Amazing from start to finish :) somethingsomething9
